About Thinkfinity Literacy Network
Thinkfinity Literacy Network is a powerful educational platform created through the merger of two highly-acclaimed programs – Verizon Literacy Network and Verizon MarcoPolo.
Thinkfinity means “endless possibilities for learning,” and communicates Verizon’s vision for this signature philanthropic digital platform for educational achievement and literacy. Thinkfinity supports lifelong learning by providing educators, students and all citizens with powerful tools to successfully meet the global challenges of the 21st century.
Today, Thinkfinity Literacy Network delivers:
- 55,000 resources supporting teachers, students and community programs
- Authoritative standards-based K-12 education resources
- Industry-based literacy resources for achievement across the lifespan
- Professional development resources including online instructional courses for literacy programs and volunteering and train-the-trainer model reaching all levels of K-12 education
- Robust measurement tools including the Verizon Life Span Literacy Matrix
- Text and video content with interactive capabilities
Thinkfinity Literacy Network will continue to evolve, through ongoing development and expanded resources for teachers, and students – beyond the classroom into after school, home and community environments, to leverage technology in support of acquiring knowledge and skills that are required in the 21st century.
